I’m not an expert on all the items I sell, so I don’t know all the description terms that are unique to every genre of item. I’ve tried earnestly to describe all pertinent features, flaws and details, and generally provide more information than other sellers. I don’t wish for you to have any surprises when you open the package!
Please understand that sometimes I travel or am at work (I work weekends), so can’t always get home to take or send additional photos or answer questions before a listing ends. I will do my best to get you the additional photo(s) and/or information quickly.
If you “win” an item but still have questions or concerns, then do not pay until your questions and/or concerns are addressed to your satisfaction. I would much rather release you from your obligation to purchase than have you be unhappy with the item when you get it!

Shipping costs shown on this listings are ESTIMATES that ’s system calculates automatically based on shipping via Parcel Select, weight, APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS* of the shipping container, and the zip code of the address that you have on file with . ALSO, sometimes it turns out to be less expensive, or only a little bit more, to ship via Priority (2-3 business day transit time) instead of via Parcel Select (2-9 business day transit time). My goal is to get you the LOWEST price. If it’s just a little more to ship via Priority, then I might cover the difference myself, or contact you and offer you the option to pay a little more to get the item more quickly.
ABOUT HANDLING FEES: My goal is to charge NO handling fee, and to keep shipping/handling costs as low as possible, because and PayPal take a cut of all those charges, too.
I charge only the actual shipping cost, and if and only if I had to buy special packaging, then I charge a small handling fee to cover JUST PART of the packaging costs. For example, I (regretfully) have to charge $1.29 handling for MUGS and some other small, breakable items to cover part of the cost of the special, sturdy boxes I bought in which to ship them, because the USPS doesn’t offer a free box that size (6” x 6” x 6”) as of this writing. Bubble wrap is also expensive.
Whenever possible, I re-use shipping materials to save on Environmental waste and costs, in which case there will be no handling charge.
ABOUT PACKING: I package items with great care so that they have the best chance possible of arriving intact. What may seem like “over packaging” is NOT over packaging. Some carriers seem to use parcels for soccer practice. It’s amazing how many things I have ordered that have arrived in pieces when the packer thought that they had packed them well, but indeed had not. I don’t want you, my appreciated customer, to experience the disappointments (and related hassles) that I have endured when I have received broken items.
If an item sold for $20 or more, then it will be insured, and the insurance cost will be included in the shipping/handling cost. I won’t insure items that sell for under $20 unless you request that I do so.
Items that sold for $199.99 or less will ship within two business days of payment. I will hold off on shipping items that sold for $200 or more until after the PayPal payment clears (“clears” as in when the funds are made available to me by PayPal). If this delay presents an issue for you, then please contact me so we can work out the details.

Yes, I will GLADLY combine shipping charges on multiple items, IF the following FOUR reasonable/logical conditions are met:
1) You notify me upon or before closing that you are offerding on another item or items, so that I’ll hold off on calculating postage and invoicing until all items are won;
2) They all close within seven days of each other, and are all paid for at the same time (I’ll invoice after last item closes);
3) IF the shapes/sizes/types of items allow me to bundle the shipping. For example: I could combine shipping on two posters, but not on a poster and a coffee mug. Simply put, if I can save on shipping costs, then I will be happy to share the savings with you… and if I can’t save on shipping costs, well then, I’ve no savings to share.
4) None of the items were offered with “free shipping.”

RETURNS ACCEPT FOR A LIMITED NUMBER OF REASONS. READ CAREFULLY!
I WILL accept returns ONLY for the following THREE reasons:
1) If I sent you the wrong item.
2) If the item arrived broken. If this happens, then I will need to see clear photos of all sides the item for insurance reasons… and so that I can tell it’s the SAME item that I sent to you. I ask for clear photos because I had one unscrupulous buyer send me a picture of a DIFFERENT item that he was looking to replace for free at my expense. So thanks to the minority of people like that who have no morals, I have to ask you for enough photos to ensure that this doesn’t happen to me again. Thanks for understanding.
3) If I made a significant error in an item’s description. I’ve done my best to describe all items in ample and pertinent detail, and have provided many photos, with the hopes that no false impressions or expectations are created. I’ve also given all buyers the opportunity to ask questions and/or request additional photos before paying (not just before offerding). Returns based on small details will not be entertained. If small details are important to you, then I will happily provide you with multiple photos and answers before shipping, and will give you the opportunity to opt-out of the transaction if you’re not satisfied with the photos and/or may answers.
If there is a problem with an item, it must be reported to me WITHIN THREE DAYS OF RECEIPT in order to be considered.
I WILL NOT accept returns for the following reasons:
1) Disappointment with an item based on features or flaws that were shown in photos and/or mentioned in the description.
2) Item larger or smaller than expected (I provided all applicable measurements).
3) Color different than expected (see “about item colors” below).
4) Clothing item didn’t fit (I provided all applicable measurements).
5) Item or packaging “smells funny” or had cat hair on it (see “residues and don’ts,” below).
6) Buyer “changed their mind” (don’t be a nit).
In the unlikely case that a buyer bullies, cajoles or begs me into accepting a return based on one of the “will not accept return” reasons listed directly above, then he or she will pay for TO AND FROM shipping (yes, both ways), and will be reimbursed for 80% of the cost of the item provided that it comes back to me in the same condition in which I sent it, and that it’s indeed the same item – not a substitute. (I will know if it’s a substitute, I won’t be fooled twice on that one.)
RESIDUE’S AND DONT’S
Most of the items I sell are from my own personal “collections,” and no one in this house smokes anything, ever, for fear of their life. However, some of the items that I sell are purchased at thrift stores and garage sales, so I cannot guarantee that all items are from a “smoke free” Environment.
If an item I acquired to sell has a smoky smell, smoky residue, or any other kind of dirt or residue on it when I get it, then it will be cleaned IF I can clean without risk of damaging it. I clean everything EXCEPT clothing, porous, leather or otherwise “soft and fuzzy” things that I sell before shipping. If I detect a smoky smell or residue, or ANY odd smell, residue, smudge, stain or dirt on an item that I was unable to remove, then that will be mentioned in the item’s description.
We do have cats. They are not sleeping on, playing on, drooling on, chewing on, or otherwise molesting the items for sale. Items are stored in an office that is closed off from the little beasts. However, they do occasionally sneak in, and the packaging has been stored in various places around the house (and the packaging is often re-used so I don’t always know where it’s been), so it’s possible that kitty hair or dander found its way into the packaging or onto the item. If you have cat allergies, then I suggest that you take whatever precautions you need to take before opening any package that I send to you. (There are no dogs, rodents, reptiles, or birds here, and the guppies do a good job of keeping to themselves.)
GET OVER THE RAINBOW. ABOUT ITEM COLORS
Please note that monitors and screens all display colors differently. Think about how, when you go into the TV store and all the TVs are showing the same image, that the images don’t all show the exact tone, brightness, hues, etc. It’s the same with your computer, phone and tablet screens. Exposure times and lighting also affect how colors appear in photos. Therefore, the colors of an item in any photo are highly likely to appear at least slightly differently than they appear “in real life.” This is the case with ALL photographed items you view on any device, and is not a phenomenon unique to my sales.
I’ve taken great care to photograph items so that their colors are as accurately displayed as possible, sometimes even using different lightings (flash/no flash, sunlight/incandescent light, etc.) to show variance. I mention this because returns based on an item’s color, hue, tone, sheen or texture will not be considered. If you need something to match something else exactly, then please don’t buy it from me. Instead, I kindly suggest that you buy it from a brick-and-mortar retailer where you can see it “in real life,” or from a large online retailer that does accept returns.
I’m just one person (not a representative of a “big business”) who is selling stuff on as a hobby. I make my living by holding down a full-time job. I work weekends. My usual days-off are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is why it’s stated that items will ship within two business days of payment. I’m simply not set up to churn out shipments right as the orders close like the “professional” sellers, though I do endeavor to get the orders shipped right away. I’ve been up-front about this so please don’t ding me on shipping-time response unless I lagged beyond the two business days before shipping!
I’ve no intent or motive to mislead or bamboozle anyone. I’m not hard up for money, and if I was, then a second job would take me less time and bring me more money than selling random used items on . I’m attempting to justify my compulsive thrift store shopping habit, but mostly I wish to clear my garage and closets of an amassment of boxes. You see, both parents have passed away and left behind a lot of stuff… and admittedly, yes, I’ve held on to some of my own things for too long. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that it’s silly to store stuff “forever” and drag it around with me every time I move. Now I have the urge to purge!
Plus, it brings me joy to get forgotten, unused trinkets and treasures into the hands of people who will use and appreciate them. It’s a shame for cool stuff to be packed away in the dark.
