A lovely antique continental figure of Gainsborough's Blue Boy with coat of arms and motto which reads, NOBILITIS VIRTUS NON STEMMA CHARACHTER.

There is a blue mark to the base, possibly Italian but not 100% on that, some of these old marks are difficult to pin down so please check it out for yourselves.

The item stands 11" / 28cm tall.

There is a little wear to the decor commensurate with age and a chip to the underside as can be seen.

Lovely and unusual display item.
