Great Britain - Collection of 24 Edwardian picture postcards (usage dates range from 1903 to 1912) all with different Irish Railway Sub Office cancels. All have fine strikes with clear complete impressions. The offices included are Askeaton, Augher, Ballybay, Ballybunion, Ballycroy, Ballylanders, Belleek, Beltra, Castledermot, Coagh, Dunmanway, Glanmire, Helen's Bay, Holywood, Kenmore ('R' of 'RSO' removed), Kenmore (with 'R'), Kilkee, Kylemore, Lahinch, Leenane, Passage West, Patrickswell, Sixmilebridge and Valencia Island. Postcard fronts are generally routine tourist types - one of the images below shows 4 of the better examples. Another image shows the part Greenore skeleton cancel which is on the front of the Ballybay card. CBP catalogue values for these cancels are between £3 and £8 each, except for the Kenmore missing 'R' which is £15. Total CBP cat is £146. A good lot.

Special Delivery postage (minimum £6.40 UK, £9.00 overseas after May 2012 Post Office increases) must be paid for any sale exceeding £46 in value, irrespective of the postage amount given in the item Post & Packing charges are based upon the Post Office cost to me plus either 30p for the UK or 50p for overseas to allow for the cost of packaging materials. I use good quality packaging and you should expect your item to arrive very well packed. For overseas, I use Flyweight plastic stiffeners and these account for the difference in charges between UK and overseas. For UK, I always use First Class post (or Special Delivery if the item sells for £46+). My base charges currently then are 90p for the UK, £1.37 for Europe and £1.78 for the ‘Rest-of-the-World’ (USA, Australia, NZ, China, Asia, Middle East, Israel etc) with increased charges on the same basis if the item is heavier. I always combine items to reduce P&P charges and use the same policy as set out above, but please note that because of weight this does not always mean the charge reduces to the cost of one item.
