Working GBN, Gebrüder Bing Nuremberg vertical live steam engine model.
Has side name plate with GBN that dates this as pre-war, likely between 1907-1912. Diamond badge with sunburst with no Bavaria directly beneath the badge. There is a stamp \"made in Bavaria\" on the base (this was a surprise as it is not visible under normal lights, bright light/flash is needed to see it). Inside of base is painted reddish brown, outside of base is painted dark green.
Has been cared for and repaired by a mechanic. New copper pipe from boiler. Runs really well, wheel turns very fast. I usually gave the wheel a spin to get it going at first and used sterno for fuel.
A couple small indents in the boiler (no effect on functionality). Relief valve at top functions. A little chip out the wooden handle.
Has little pot to put fuel in. Very snug, difficult fit to get it into the burner area. Unsure if this pot is original but it does the job.
Measures 6.5 inches tall. Base measures 3.25 inches in diameter.
