Gemmy Halloween Haunted Inflatable 12' L X 10' H Lighted House Castle Airblown:
For sale here is a rareAirblown Castle/ Haunted House from Gemmy. You can't buy this new anymore and it is HUGE. We used it for three seasons. It was a BIG HIT with the neighborhood. It seriously makes a major statement. The kids loved it, and why not? It's bigger than my house (practically).
I've had it stored for 2 years, and now my child is a teenager and too cool for Halloween. Again, it is huge withno structural defects at all. It was setup on our lawn and it does show dirt, but it's not the kind that rubs off on you. (And besides, it's a haunted house, it should look old and scary!) I've included photos of the worst. Like. for example, the clear plastic that makes up the windows could use a going over with Windex. I tried as best I could to include pics of the not-newness, but as you can tell from the photo where it's fully inflated, these signs of use are drowned out by its full-blown awesomeness. It's used but still inflates like new. It's so big it actually has a floorplan. There is an interior "courtyard" area with a partially open roof, and bats hanging in thetwoof threelarge rooms. The entrances have black fringe curtains. The roof has castle turrets and a Flag. The front is guarded by aghoul and a haunted tree. One of the windows of the towers has an inflatable creepy midieval knight. The other windows have ghosts. There are eight tether ropes, seven stakes and one extra bulb (currently there is one or two bulbs that need replacing).
The Airblown Castle inflates with noproblems. It's easier to set up with two people, and the castle will need to bestaked and tethered, with all zippers zipped, to achieve maximum gloriousness. Make sure the legs under the two fan bases are fully extended, because it allows space for air to be sucked into the chambers to keep the mansion inflated. And take my advice on this: The lawn stakes are all fine and good, but it really serves the structure if you erect it near upright elements like trees, a fence, a broomstick hammered in the ground, etc., because the higher off the ground the thing you tether it to, the more stable the inflatable structure. It's not a simple little teepee. It's a totally awesome inflatable Halloween wonderland!
The interior is outfitted with a standard motion-detection robo soundbox with eerie music connected to a few LED lights. All of it is there, but I could not get it to turn on. It's a simple Radio Shack device and is likely easily fixed. But regardless, I remember when it was turned on you couldn't hear it above the joyous squeals of the children anyway.
It will be shipped not in itsflimsy original box but in a weather-resistant storage tub via FedEx Ground. Keep in mind this is fairly heavy (and awesome!) shipment-wise but not as heavy as you'd think. I could carry it up two flights of stairs no problem.. Please see attached pics, and askquestions prior to offerding if you like. Thanks for viewing my sale. Please keep in mindthis castle as shown is not staked down . I blew it upso you could see how big it is, but it will need to be staked out correctly to geta nicely erect castle. Thanks!
