This is probably one of the rarest pieces ive owned, viewing highly recommended so you can see how good this really is, it is a genuine old russian silver and carved ox bone turtle with rubies as the eyes, guaranteed genuine, it has IP impressed mark for the faberge workmaster JULIUS ALEXANDROVITCH RAPPAPORT, it has various very tiny marks some of which i cant make out as they are on the feet which are in untouched dirty condition, it has the 88 silver purity mark which was used on higher quality pieces. the turtle measures about 5.8cm long, 3.5cm wide and about 2cm high. it does have some age related fine hairlines on the ox bone shell, but it has a lovely variation in colour due to the age. very difficult to photograph. it weighs 48.5 grams. im sure it will be a very long time before another one of these turns up. surely an extremely rare piece and very good investment for the future as prices will only rise. it came with one of the most beautiful large early ring set with diamonds and a huge emerald which must have been owned by a very wealthy person, the ring i also think is a russian piece.DUE TO THE LARGE NUMBER OF NON PAYING buyers - ALL MY sales HAVE BUYER REQUIREMENTS - SO IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT ME SO I CAN ALLOW YOU TO offer - ANYONE WHO offerS AND THEN RETRACTS offerS DAYS AFTER WILL BE BLOCKED FROM FUTURE sales - ALSO NON PAYING buyers WILL BE REPORTED AND BLOCKED - BUYER REQUIREMENTS I HAVE SET ARE BELOW - SO IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING YOU NEED TO CONTACT ME SO I CAN ADD YOU TO LIST OF CONFIRMED buyers.
