This is for a lovely clean George III sterling silver patch pot in a nice octagonal shape.The hinged lidis finely engraved and the sides have a delicatebrightcut pattern all the way around. Inside the silver carries a clear set of Georgian sterling silver hallmarks dating it to 1795 along with the makers initials SP for Samuel Pemberton.It is in excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, no splits or repairs and the lid sits nice and tight. It measures 32mm (1.25") x 21mm (0.75")x 7mm deep.
