GERMAN C1900 BLACK FOREST FIGURAL CARVED WOOD WALL HOOK W/ HORNS
Description
This listing is for a Germancirca 1900Black Forest carved hardwood figural wall hook. The piece measures 8 ½ inches or 21.5 cm high, and is 3 ½ inches or 9 cm wide at the base of the hooks.
The hardwood carving of the man is quite good. The man is wearing a long coat with fur trim and has one hand at his waist. From below his coat are two animal horns which form natural hooks. The wooden figure has a medium chestnut brown patina or color; the horns are a dark brown color. At the back is a small notch and piece of metal for hanging.
