German Junghans Antique Vienna Wall Clock High Quality Beautiful - Runs Great:
This is a VERY LARGE BEAUTIFUL 100% ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION example of a German Vienna Wall Clock in SUPERIOR condition. Made by Junghans Clock company in Germany. The clock is signed by the maker on the dial as well as the movement. This fine clock was in the estate of a fine clockmaker and was cherished. German Wall clocks are of the highest quality. It was made in Germany circa 1900. The German clocks in our collection have not yet required any servicing and have kept perfect time for many, many years. This particular model is in near perfect, all original condition. Retains its original crown and finials. Rare indeed. The top eagle is the original pecan shell. It has a heavy duty 8-day time and strike movement, which strikes once on the half hour and counts the hours on a large gong with a beautiful old German clock sound. The movement is very clean, runs very well and keeps good time. We have included some pictures of the movement so you can see its “inner beauty”. This clock measures 43 inches high, 17 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The case has its original finish in superior condition – has a few bumps and a few authentic old worm holes! Has its 3 pieces of original wavy glass everywhere in which to view the time on the fancy original pendulum moving back and forth keeping time for you. Also has its original sides with glass to watch the movement doing its work. The porcelain dial is perfect and is the original dial – very rare. The hands are original! The clock has a nice quiet way it ticks also. Includes the original fancy pendulum and an antique high quality key to wind the clock. The back of the clock is perfect. If you are looking for an impressive clock that was very well made and “taken well care of”– THIS IS IT! This clock is a very high grade clock, with lots of attention to detail, a heavy duty movement and lots of “extras” that most clocks do not have. The movement slides out for easy oiling and servicing, no need to even take the dial off or hands.
These antique clocks amaze me - could you imagine any other consumer product still working perfectly after over 80 years! And the truly amazing thing it is ready for the next 100 years, and will probably run indefinitely with tender loving care. Antique Clocks are a Fine Investment. Each one has a unique quality, as well as appreciating in value and beauty with age. You will become attached to your antique clocks and they will become a meaningful and important part of your life adding untold joy each day you own them. They can be handed down from one generation to another as they increase daily in value. Antique clocks serve many purposes other than being useful in telling time, decorative in your home, a valuable asset in your estate and above all a faithful servant and friend which will be true to you to the end of time. This clock will be packed VERY CAREFULLY to insure a safe delivery and the buyer is to pay $34.50 for shipping, packing and ins. This clock is quite heavy and large – will require careful packing, an oversize carton and lots of packing material. International is exact charge. We love these clocks and I will gladly answer any questions via email promptly. I have always hated that "reserve" when I have offer so this fine clock has and a very very low (gulp) starting offer, so to be a “true sale”. I will be glad to help you set up your new clock, or answer questions long after the sale via email.
We will be at the NAWCC National clock convention at Dayton OH. Going in our vintage Airstream (with all the kitties!) June 29 through the end of July. This is a great convention. Then we’re planning on visiting Donna’s Sister and brother in law in Conway MO. Then we’re planning on taking a vacation camping in Colorado! It looks like we’ll probably not have much internet access during the trip. If we receive payment right away before we leave we can ship before we leave. If not, we’ll ship ASAP right after returning. Sorry for the inconvenience.
