This thermal base layer balaclava is ideal under your helmet, hat or other headgear you
may be wearing. It is the perfect base layer for your head as it pulls moisture
away from your skin to the outside layer where it then dries quickly. The
fabric is very pliable, stretchy and forgiving so you can comfortably pull it
under your chin, wear it over your nose or even put your head through the
opening and use it as a type of neck gator.
FIT is form fitting with some stretch to fit on your head. One size fits
most. Generally it has a very forgiving fit with great 4 way stretch. There is
an ADULT and YOUTH size, each listed separately. If you have a really,
really big head it may be a stretch...pun intended.
PRO Polar Line is an 8.0 oz brushed polyester / spandex high
performance moisture management, breathable, soft, stretchy and warm base layer
fabric. It is heavier and warmer than most other cold gear fabrics on the
market today. This material wicks very well via the physical property of
capillary action. It features a two layer fabric construction that is smooth on
the outside and brushed on the inside which draws moisture up and away off your
skin to the outside layer where in turn is then spread over a wider surface
area until it naturally evaporates on its own. The result creates a buffer zone
of warm and dry air next to your body.
