Alargesolid Mahogany Campaignwriting box, dating to around 1820 & ingood condition.It has anice colour & a very good deep patina, a very handsome box & much better in real life.

Thetimber isgreat quality,it displays very well weather open or closed & would make a wonderful gift.A goodearly box& agreat shape ,it measuresapprox19 3/4" wide,6" tall &just over 10"deep, it isa lovely box.It's a great size &is very well made & heavyfor it's size atapprox 4Kg.Please remember this box is well over 180 years old not brand new,so it hastiny marks/ chips / scratchesetc from agebut that's what makes an antique & gives it such charm & character.

Please note the lock & keyareinworking orderif a little tired from age,the writing surface is the originalfelt butisvery tired now-see pictures.Also this has been refinished with traditional french polishat some time.Just 99p start though & , so good luck & happy offerding !!!
