This is the MOST GORGEOUS Normandy Lace French 19C bedspread coverlet that I have ever seen in all my years working with lace!!

This is so exquisitely hand done with the tiniest hand work. The Normandy pieces are joined with a pale golden silk and lined with a pale golden silk liner (the spread is more golden than shows in the photos shade). There are many differently worked pieces and then the whole spread is covered with work on silk with long side ruffles.

This piece is shown and fits beautifully on a queen sized bed. Both the liner and the net lace tulle Normandy spread are in pristine condition, with the liner and the tulle in perfect preserved condition - no holes, rips, tears, separations, or repairs. This was stored well and is immaculate in the work.

The only problem is there are a series of storage stains on the upper part of one side, on the net only, not on the liner (see photos please!!), which will need to be removed (preferably by a French laundry cleaner technique). As the spots are only on the tulle netting and not on the under liner, they should present no problem in cleaning. I am leaving the removal of these spots to the new owner. (Please be sure to look at all the photos so you can assess for yourself the condition and see the spots detailed above. This piece is so stunning that I have gone a bit crazy trying to show the beauty in the photos.)
