CUT GLASS & SOLID SILVER SPANISH CLARTE JUG FROM THE ART NOUVEAU PERIOD

Description:
Excellent late 19th century cut glass and solid silver claret jug, with a very attractive profile, and a handsome decoration, both on the glass, and on the fittings. These, sport a typical Art Nouveau decoration, of great elegance.
It does not carry the five-pointed star, because it predates its use on Spanish silver, but is marked with the name of the (very reputed) silversmith, J. Boix, and the silver standard, .916.

Maximum dimensions:
30cm (height) x 13.7cm (diameter of the base)
Weight (glass and silver together): 1156gr

Condition:
Excellent condition, with no damages or restorations, and just some normal signs of use. Please, see the attached pictures for a full illustration of its condition.
