Up for sale with is a gorgeous Art Nouveau Period Sterling Silver Overlay on Glass Pitcher Jug. The Pitcher is a beautiful Hand Blown Glass example with great Wavy designs throughout that really set off the beautiful Art Nouveau Tulips and Scrolls designs. The Pitcher is a top quality example with nice thick Sterling Silver Overlay throughout, including fancy designs to the Handle. The Sterling Overlay is actually 99.9% Pure Silver which is a higher Grade than Sterling and the finest quality one could purchase at the time. I can not quite make out the maker's mark but it is serial numbered and marked 999/1000 which believe would indicate the piece was made by the Alvin / Gorham Silver firm. The Pitcher is in excellent all original condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and the glass is crystal clear. The Pitcher is a great size for display in a collection or for modern use and would be lovely filled with Flowers as a Vase as well, measuring 5" tall by 4" wide across the base. The Pitcher will hold approx 400ml or 13.5 U.S. Fluid Ounces. We have a very fine collection of Sterling Silver Overlay Glass listed, be sure to check all our other sales and save greatly with combined shipping !

In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand. Also all returns must beposted within14 days of delivery confirmation. Any Item or Lot Sold "AsIs" is not elligible for Return or Partial Refund, no exceptions. If for any reason you have a problem with your purchase, please email me and I will do my best to make you happy, I have near perfect response and would prefer to keep it that way.
