THIS LOT IS FOR AN AMERICAN ART NOUVEAU STERLING SILVER WATER PITCHER LIKELY MADE IN 1905 BY GORHAM IN THEIR MODERNIC LINE. THIS LINE WAS MADE MOSTLY IN 1905 AND IS ALWAYS HAND WROUGHT AND HAND CHASED MUCH LIKE THE MARTELE LINE. THIS PIECE IS HAMMERED AND CHASED WITH A RASPBERRY VINE COMING OFF THE HANDLE AND WRAPPING AROUND IT\'S BODY. THIS PITCHER IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH A GREAT PATINA. IT MEASURES 10 3/4\" TALL X 9 1/2\" WIDE, WEIGHS 43.8 TROY OUNCES AND HAS BEEN MONOGRAMED ON THE FRONT WITH A GORGEOUS HAND CHASED INTERTWINED THREE LETTER MONOGRAM AS SEEN IN MY PHOTOS. THE LAST 2 PHOTOS SHOW THE RETAILER\'S MARK OF \"A. HIRSCHMAN & CO.\" AND THE LAST PHOTO SHOWS THE TRACES OF THE GORHAM MARK WHICH WAS BUFFED OUT LIKELY BY HIRSCHMAN.
