MARKED PORTUGUESE SOLID SILVER FIGURE OF SAINT ANTHONY WITH CHILD JESUS. EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Description:
Very interesting antique figure of Saint Anthony, made in marked Portuguese solid silver. It reproduces the most usual and venerated iconography of this saint, holding the book and Child Jesus on his left hand, and a lilly on the right one.
Saint Anthony of Padua died in the Italian city after which we all know him, but he was born in Lisbon, and he is much venerated in Portugal. Excellent and very interesting piece, marked on the base (illustrated).

Weight: 176gr (no overweight)
