Shrewsbury, England.Description:This is a lovely, gilt cast metal figure of a naked lady clad in flowing material. She has originally been a furniture or perhaps clock mount. She is well modelled and typical of the era. She is great as a stand alone piece- she could be mounted on a plinth, appreciated as she is or applied to a larger piece. She dates to between 1890-1810.
Condition:She is in good condition- There are two little bolts to the base. The gold has a little bit of wear, one shoulder has a small pointwhere she has been attached to something else at some point and there is a small amount of wear to the gilding in a few places- otherwise excellent and attractive.
Measurements:She measures 12 cm in length, 11 cm in width and 7 cm in height.
