George Clint English Portrait Painter Autographed Letter! Authentic! Historic Content!A sharp George Clint folded 1821 autographed (twice) letter (about 7 1/2\" x 9\") of the great British portrait painter to add to your collection!
In the letter Clint writes to Messrs. Hurst Robinson & Co., Cheapside: \"I am authorized to offer you the Copy right of the Picture from the Farce of \'Lock and Key\' painted by myself and Exhibited this year at The Royal Academy - The sum demanded is Twenty Guineas - It must be Engraved by a good Artist and finished in a reasonable time - I presume you have seen it, but if not it may be proper to say it contains the portraits of Munden, Knight and Mrs. Orger.\"
It should be noted that Sir Joseph Shepherd Munden, Edward Knight and Mary Ann Ivers Orger were three of the most prominent English comic actors of the day.
