Item: George III English Sterling Silver Egg Spoon Joseph Hicks Circ 1796 Exeter. Wonderful English Sterling Silver Egg Spoon made by Joseph Hicks of Exeter. The spoon has the classic square shoulders of the Georgian period egg spoon design. Has a highly polished silver finish to its entirety and has the benefit of being un-monogrammed and free from personalisation. Although no date letter is present the silversmith Joseph Hicks produced his silver from 1796 onwards, this is the classic pre 1800’s design. Would grace any collection and would make a wonderful gift. For the collector or investor of fine English Georgian silverware.
