This bowl is in the style of George Jones Mr Punch Bowl.
Modeled as Mr Punch supporting half an orange. Holly leaves and berries are wrapped around the bowl.
Kiln effects: Glaze pops to the exterior ; marbling-like effect to ochre glaze of bowl; Piece of kiln detritus caught inside causing piece to rattle.
Possible restoration to base as there is green paint over the glazed surface no sign of the company`s pattern mark or any potters or painters mark therefore we are not sure if this is an original or a Chinese copy.
Measures 6 inches high 7 inches across top and 7 inches wide
