The workmanship is extraordinary----even the girl\'s face is done all in embroidery. The tiny baby birds are masterly stitched. The best example I have had the pleasure to offer. Regilded wooden frame with eglomise mat. Textile measures 8.25\" x 6.25\" sight. Frame measures 14.5\" by 12.75\". A most charming piece.Note: The last photo shows what looks like staining or dark splotches at the top of the embroidery. These are a reflection on the glass and not there.
