Beautiful Georgian Antique English 9 Carat Gold Carnelian Agate Drop Earrings c1820

An antique English, solid 9 carat gold (tests thereabouts) pair of Georgian period earrings; beautifully made, with hinged wires, and polished semi-translucent carnelian agate tops & original drops. Thesegorgeousearrings open from thefront and you can remove the drops if you would like for a \"day to night\" look.

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Early 19th Century. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:30 mm long overall (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 2.9grams together.
