This card was issued by TCMA, Ltd. in 1974

One of the more obscure (and difficult to find) commemorative card sets issued by The Card Memorabilia Associates, Limited (TCMA) is the St. Louis Browns 1902-1953 set issued in three series over a two-year period, 1974-75.

Depicted is a player from the St. Louis Browns team, a franchise long since transferred to Baltimore when TCMA chose to honor the St. Louis Americans.

Card size is unusual, too, at 2-1/4\" by 3-7/8\". Cards are unnumbered with no player identification on the front. The reverse side displays set title, player name and position, the years the subject played for the Browns andabbreviated statistics and, lastly, the TCMA copyright line.

*This card, based upon the comprehensive Beckett Baseball Card Alphabetical Checklist book, is believed to be the subject\'s very first published card.

Condition:Excellent - check the high-resolution scans, front and back; this is our only example of this card currently in stock.
