German WWI issue holster for a 7.65mm pistol. Makers markedon front “Franz Herbert –Erfurt-1915” Holster is 7 inches long and 4 3/4 inches high. There is a single 1 3/4 inch belt loop on the back. Used. Very goodantique condition. The leather is mostly flexible and no sign of rotting ordrying. No major damage except a small tear to the edge of the flap. No tornthreads but some look stretched a bit. The closing strap is intact but a bitthin. Be careful. There are some numbersand the name “Wilke” written on the inside flap.
