A exccelentLange & Söhne Kriegsmarine B-Uhr (Beobachter-Uhr or Observation Watch) of the very last batch made in May 1945,as one can see onthe last picture ona copy of the book: Militäruhren / military watches by Konrad Knirim,on page 479 itsays: by 1945,movemend numbers from 207500 to 208660 were reserved for observation chronometers. Until May 1945, 246 observation chronomerters were manufactured.
This watch carrys the worknumber 207511 this number one finds inside as well as outsite this watch,inside that numbers is on several parts to be find.So this is one of the last made,itis number 11 of that serie of 246 made until may 1945.
It carry's marine number M19474. In the book of Knirim are lists of clocks with marinenumbers on pages 612 and 613,the last marine number there is for a schipsclock carrying numberM19510,altough the list is not complet due to losses of archives during the war,this issurley on of the last watches issued.(not THE last,but one of the last)
The watch holt time perfectly it has a difference of one or twoseconds in every24 hours compared with the computer.It is in a very good condition and has very little traces of use.
If the watch is not as discribed,I'll take it back.
