This beautiful painting depicts events on the afternoon of July 1st, 1863. Painted by historic artist Mark Maritato. Not a print but an original oil that I won at a fund raising event several years ago.
Robert E.Lee\'s Confederate Army attacked and drove the Union Army though the streets of Gettysburg\"The I and XI Union Corps retreated in a near rout through the town of Gettysburg. The streets were clogged as the Yankees struggled to get away from the pressing greybacks.\" You can almost feel the heat and panic. This vibrant painting has been held in storage in a smoke free home. The painting is in outstanding condition.Local pick up , Pay Pal only. Documentation included.
