For Sale! 1936 Kalamazoo KG-11 built by Gibson. These were an affordable guitar line made in the Gibson factory during the 1930's depression. What separates these guitars from the Gibson line are: no truss rod, ladder bracing and no fret markers. This guitar has had a professional refret with vintage correct fret wire (I am not certain the actual spec, but they are not Jumbo or tall, etc.), new bone nut and bone saddle (saddle cut for the radius of the neck). Professional installation of side dot fret markers. Original ebony nut and saddle included with sale.Strap button professionally installed and Waverly ebony Butterbean tuners installed with a 16:1 tuning ratio (original tuners not included). Hardshell case purchased from Elderly Instruments.Action measures at 12th fret 5/64" Low E; 4/64" High E. Set up for 0.11's.No neck reset performed, no pickup has ever been installed. NO CRACKS.
