Gibson tenor guitar. number inside reads 369 28 we thought it was from the thirties, however it has single line kluson tuners from the early fifties.(the case looks thirties or forties)I don't have my book here with me (its evening time here) so am open to input as to the year.
this guitar has a quality feel to it. there are no cracks or breaks, it looks like the end strap button fell out, it has some minor nicks and scratches, has moderate checking, has wear on the back of the neck, the frets do have some wear but it plays and sounds great, I think the big body helps with tone and volume. its a great example of a Gibson tenor. thanks for looking! p.s international buyers must contact first to discuss shipping and customs fees.
we have opted to list these items on other sites to keep costs down as much as possible, please check out guitarcavern thanks! g base
this guitar is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the sale if it sells. please see our other sales for great guitars. there is dust on our guitars, also finger smudges etc that may show up in the pics also glare from the camera from time to time, most of the guitars for sale at this time have had one owner over 40 years. we played them, made notes on condition repairs etc and here they are!
