Vintage, circa 1950\'s, Schiaparelli hat and Christian Dior hat box. Funky and fun artistic straw hat with lots of attitude! Very sculptural, as we all know Elsa was a true artist, with formed and stitched creases and bends. Shiny dark cocoa brown with black grosgrain trim with a touch of ivory as well and a net fly-away scarf in black. This piece is in Very good vintage condition with no holes, tears, or loose weaving. The only wear I can find is on the scarf where I might image it was caught by a tree branch or two & has some snagging and a few holes (see pics). This could possibly be rectified by trimming it off but I will leave that up to you. Otherwise as you can see in the images when the scarf is draping freely you can not see any of this. Inside label says size 22 and measures 20 1/2\" on inside diameter. I can certainly see Elsa strolling the Paris streets in this wonderful creation! Along with this lovely hat comes a Miss Dior by Christian Dior hat box. Measures 12\" in diameter and 8 1/4\" tall with rope handle. You don\'t see too many of these any more. She is in good condition with no holes, tears or rips but she does have some surface wear (see pics). Please email with any questions.
