This Gold Band thimble was made by AOFI Porzellan, Germany forthe Thimble collectors Club in 1991.
It is decorated with a band of 24 kt gold that has been burnished and polished to create an intricate pattern featuring a band of roses; the top is embossed with a pattern of a flower.
It is stamped inside, in black, with the makers mark being ">>AOFI<< Porzellan Germany.

I have described and pictured the thimble honestly and the best I can - as you can see, despite the wear, this is still a stunning item.
