There is much history to the coins I am listing. These must have belonged to my Grandparents who sadly, I was never able to meet. They were left to my Mother. These were all tucked away in my Mom\'s jewelry box for many, many years. I do know that they took a ship from Sweden to the United States and that permission was granted to do so from the King of Sweden... I found the actual papers! I know absolutely nothing about coins and am not representing anything other than what I can see. I haven\'t cleaned or done a thing to any of them. I am simply laying them out and taking pics. My camera is set upon a magnifying glass used for skin care and that is how I am photographing them! It works! As with many Vintage and Antique items, you are definitely owning a piece of history! Interesting to say the least! I have included pictures so you can get a glimpse into the past!

This coin is a gold dollar piece dated 1853. This was actually tucked inside the velvet lining of my Mom\'s old jewelry box. As stated, I know nothing about it. My guess is that it was one of the first coins that my Grandparents came upon and some how it was stored. I do know that it has been in that box for many, many years. Thank you for looking!
