New Old Stock
- All books unless noted are New old stock and were bagged directly from store overstock. My store was open 1982-1992
- Books were stored 2 to a bag, some books published after 1990 had a backer board, books before did not
- This results in common defects: staple creases, corner abrasions and in some cases dents down the front or back cover next to the spine. Defect is listed above as not-flat
Grading
- Each of my listed books are assigned an estimated grade along with observed defects.
- This is my estimate, please review the listed defects, scans, photos and defect close-ups before offerding.
- response on grading is always appreciated.
- Some listed defects may have multiple occurrences, e.g. Corner abrasion and Spine crease.
- Please make sure you review the attached front/back cover scans and pictures (there are no stock photos).
- When possible: I include close-up photos of defects which result in a greater than .5 deduction in condition
Shipping
- I ship quickly and securely via USPS Priority mail...I do not use Media mail so unfortunately my shipping costs are not cheap.
- Each book is first bagged and boarded and then enclosed within a Flash Comic Mailer.
- Flash comic mailers protect comics from damage, one customer reported their package was actually left outside in the rain all day without issue
- Each comic mailer typically fits 12 modern comic books. This can be less if there are annuals, Silver/Golden will be 9-10 books.
- 1-12 books, $6.90 shipping. 13-24, $13.80 shipping (2 envelopes)
- 25-50 books, $13.60 shipping. I use Priority Mail Medium boxes and reinforce these with cardboard inside to eliminate damage during shipping.
- I combine if you buy multiple lots. Shipping costs are based upon the total number of books, see above.
Customer Satisfaction
- 95+% of all books are directly from my shop\'s store inventory (store was open 1981-1991)
- These books are in never read condition, were bagged directly from inventory, stored within long boxes in a dry controlled area for the last 25+ years
- Common defects are minor corner abrasions, corner bends (due to no boards) and spine creases.
- Additional pictures and scans are available upon request.
- My goal is to ensure that what you offer on and receive is exactly what you expect.
