This is a vintage Sheaffer Imperial Sovereign fountain pen. It still works and it will accept Sheaffer cartridges or the included Sheaffer piston style metal converter (which is rare and hard to find). There is a Sheaffer ink cartridge included to get you started, and the pen comes in a red Sheaffer gift box. This pen is in excellent condition. It has a 14k gold FINE nib, the famous inlaid Sheaffer nib that writes so smoothly. This pen will give you many years of use. I think it was probably made around 1975 in the U.S.
