Gorgeous 1930's Fmco Double Guilloche Enamel Vintage Compact For Sale

Up for offer is a very nice double guilloche enamel compact made by the FM Company, most likely in the early 1930's. The compact measures about 2 and 3/8 inches high and wide at its widest points. The lid of the compact is enameled in pale yellow with hand-painted pink and green roses. A cornflower blue enameled border surrounds the yellow lid. The back of the compact is all blue enamel. The compact opens to a gold-washed interior containing a somewhat cloudy but still usable mirror, an empty rouge spot, and a rotating powder well. The compact is hallmarked FMCO below the mirror.

The compact is in excellent condition with the exception of a small shallow chip right above the lift tab. Enlarge the pictures and you should be able to see it. I honestly didn't even see it at first, as it is not very noticeable and really does not detract.
