Charles Horner Silver Thimble Chester 1898
Lovely
hallmarked English silver thimble by the famous maker Charles Horner of
Halifax. It has full hallmarks
for Chester 1898. This one has an applied fancy rim/lower band below a
wrigglework
band. The thimble is in
excellent condition with no damage or repairs. Sorry about the
reflections in some pictures. The bottom left photo
shows where the applied decorative lower band is joined right at the
bottom; it isn't damage. The thimble is
marked as an English
size 9 and measures 15mm diameter inside the rim.
Due
to the raised
