Tonight I\'m happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Vintage - Gorham, Sterling Silver - Mid 1880\'s - Rose and Floral Repousse Motif - Pattern - Covered Silver Cream and Sugar Set.

565.30 Grams - Excellent Condition! - !

This handsome and impressive cream and sugar set dates from the late 1900\'s, of American make and origin, made by \'Gorham\' for the Philadelphia retailer \'J.E. Caldwell\', fashioned as a 5\" by 5.5 covered sugar bowl and 4\" by 4.75\" cream jug featuring an intricate floral repousse of silver roses and assorted flowers with the handles accented with silver ribbon bows and featuring gilded or gold washed interiors. The set is solid and heavy with a combined silver weight of 565.30 grams.

The set is in excellent condition showing little wear other than normal use with no rubbing or wear to the design or details and no monograms, only in need of a good polishing.

The set is marked and stamped on bottom with the familiar Gorham crown, lion and anchor mark, Sterling, J.E. Caldwell and the number -431-.
