Here’s a ¼ plate empty case.
It is in fabulous condition. It was made for an ambrotype, but it would of course
fit a dag. It was for an earlier clear glass ambro, as there is black paper in
the back. The outside of the case is in fine condition. The inside has a nice
red velvet pillow. The spine is replaced with a thin leather strip, but it is
so expertly done, you can’t tell. This is a great case if you have a special
mid 1850’s ambrotype….but a dag will fit. Free
