Great Wwii Usmc Officers Dress Sterling & Gold Screwback Hat Badge H&h Viking. For Sale

Original World War II United States Marine Corps (USMC) Officers Dress screwback Sterling and Gold Eagle Globe and Anchor EGA Hat Badge / Ornamentby Hilborn and Hamburger with the scarce Viking mark. EGA is a right facing eagle for use on an Officers Dress Hat. Beautifully detailed pin with vertical hatching on the world and very nicely feathered Eagle and the continents and anchor are gold plated with the rope being a separately added silver rope. EGA is screwback but is missing the retaining nut and marked Sterling on one wing and has the Hilborn and Hamburger H&H Eagle Logo on the other wing while the anchor is stamped "Viking" on the top and is stamped 1/20 10K with the H&H Eagle Logo (see photo 9) indicating the gold plating aforementioned. EGA measures 1.75x1.75 inches in size and is in excellent plus condition with minimal wear and is not near mint due to the missing retaining nut. A great nice original officers Sterling and Gold Eagle Globe and Anchor hat Ornament for an EGA display or use on a WWII Marine Officers dress cap.
