Groetchen Pikes Peak Trade Stimulator Original Condition No Reserve:
Up for offer is a Groetchen Pikes Peak trade stimulator made by Groetchen Tool Company
from Chicago Illinois in 1939. It was found at an estate sale, and is in its original, unrestored
condition. The game works by putting a penny in it, and by turning a knob which raises a
ball with the stairs to the top. If the ball falls through the game is over, so the object is
to get the ball to the top. All the balls appear to be there, including the gold ball. Since
I bought this, I haven't tried to use it. I didn't want to put money in it to jam it up. It
sounds like there may be a few pennys in it. The paint seems original, with a gold hammeredfinish. It is missing the front glass. Also there is one small wire that came un-done from one
side. It doesn't seem to affect anything, as the knob moves the stairs, as it should. The lock
is missing on the bottom cash sliding tray. The bottom board is loose in a couple spots, but
seems fine. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.
