An attractive and unusual small sterling silver box commemorating the death of Queen Victoria in 1901.

The box is inset with a Queen Victoria farthing coin and carries Birmingham hallmarks for the year 1901.

Maker\'s mark CF*FS forCornelius Desormeaux Saunders & Frank Shepherd.

Size: 7cm x 2.5cm x 2.2cm. Weight 25.5 grams

The box is in very good condition with no damage.

Note: The lid hinge is in excellent condition, but springs open very slightly (approx 1mm) when closed.
