Hammarlund Model Hq-200 Am/ssb/cw Shortwave & Ham Receiver For Sale
This is a unusual and not often seen receiver built-in Mars Hill, NC in 1969. Please see my other sale for the rare matching S-101 speaker.The original manual is included. With general coverage 550kc-30mc in 5 bands the shortwave guys loved these Hammarlund receivers through the years. Of course it has a separate bandspread for the ham bands. Original knobs, crisp lettering,excellent front panel,clear dial numbers/colors, working S meter, adjustable BFO, antenna trimmer, independent Q-Multiplier and unique continuously variable selectivity from .1 to 12 Khz.. The cabinet is not damaged or modified and the original cabinet paint is very good, but has a few scratches on the sides/paint chips on top. Bench tested witha 20' indoor wire antenna and copied BC, shortwave, ham SSB/CW on all bands. The S meter works well and all controls adjust. It needs an external speaker, not included.
