THIS sale is for a V. FINE ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED NIPPON VASE...

A fantastic piece with ALL HAND PAINTED (no transfers) DESERT SCENES of what appears to be a BEDOUIN couple traveling on camel back. The river or spring encircles the vase. High cirrus clouds offer a beautiful back drop as they rest in an oasis. Palm trees and a village in the background complete the scene.

A wonderful pallete of warm desert colors throughout. The vignette is framed with bands of HIEROGLYPHS atop and below. Each with carefully placed Moriage (beads) within the gilt work. Molded handles and a ruffled mouth rim.

It's in excellent estate condition. Only light wear to the gilt and NO chips, NO cracks or repairs.

Signed appropriately with Nippon's green M mark in wreath. (see photo)
