Description Abeautifullarge English antique Georgian solid sterling silver table mustard pot by the silversmiths Rebecca Emes & George Barnard l,in lovely conditionand with full English silver hallmarks for London 1816.Excellent quality example,handsome large size with a hinged silver lid and silver thumb-piece. Silver loophandle and with an uncommon solid bottom, not just asilver edge rim. Comes withheavy interior glass linerwhich is removable for cleaning. With no added engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms.

Weight Heavymustard pot,weighsapprox 150grams, excluding the liner.

MeasurementsGood size, measures approx4inches (101mm) x3 inches (78mm) and stands2.25 inches (58mm) in height including thumb-piece.

Date Antique Georgian solid sterling silver, with a full set of English silver hallmarks for London 1816(date letter "a").Matching marks on pot and lid. Maker Silversmiths initials "RE over EB", (Rebecca Emes & George Barnard), rubbed but readable. ConditionLovely condition and ready to be used. No splits or cracks to the silver, no repairs, definitely no holes and no nasty knocks or dents either, a very nice Georgian silver example. The silver lid hinge works perfectly and the lid opens and closes tightly. Heavy faceted glass liner with spoon cut-out, some age related edge rim chips, may or may not be the original but a good fit and is complete with silver plated spoon.
