HARMONY H78 "REDBURST" HOLLOW BODY ELECTRIC GUITAR FROM 1967 UNBELIEVABLE NEAR NEW CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL CASE, PLAYS EASY, SOUNDS KILLER, MONSTER COOL GUITAR, *****

After plugging this Beauty in you suddenly realize why this model is Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys main guitar. The back of the Neck feels awesome, it is a nice C profile, the action is just right low, it plays easy and sounds GREAT. The DeArmond "Gold Foil" pickups have a Huge tonal range, and the pickup controls and configuration are a breeze to operate. 3 Toggle switches control which pickups are on, and each have a Volume and Tone control as well. All controls function Perfectly and Smoothly, and make a big difference in the sound. All 3 pickups can be on simultaneously, or just the Neck and the Bridge (a very cool and unique sound), or any individually, and as was previously stated, the Tonal range is just tremendous. There is basically No fret wear at all on this instrument, the intonation is right, and the Super Cool Bigsby "True Vibrato" Tailpiece works perfectly. This Jewel is set up and ready to rock, right out of the Case. It looks to me like someone bought this guitar, played it some, and then put it back in the case for a long time, all the while, taking very good care of both. It honestly looks like it was made a few years ago, Not 46 years ago! I am dating it a 1967 as there is a small number which looks like 17 (Or something 7) inside by the F holes, along with two other numbers much larger which are 1155 and then 7230. They are lighter than the first number, and are not easy to photograph, and from what I can find out so far, they don't really date the instrument. The Instrument weighs in at 7 pounds 1 ounce. Cosmetically the Finish is a Beautiful Red (H78) with some nice "flame" here and there, it does have some very light "age lines" but they are virtually invisible. There is No wear on the back of the neck, it is perfect and shinny just like the rest of the instrument. On the back, the only indication of buckle wear are some very tiny indents which really can only be seen when reflecting the small area in the light. I have posted a picture of this area. There isone tiny finish nick on the back of the headstock on the sideedge, by the top right tuner. That is really it as far as any finish nicks to speak of.The Tuners are somewhat unique as they are not the standard tuners normally seen with this model, but after close inspection I am convinced that they were put on by the Factory, as one of them has some of the red finish stuck to it, which I have posted pictures of as well. They are in the same basic condition as the rest of the Guitar (Near New) and function perfectly as well. Here is the Harmony Description of this Model:
