HEAVY late 1800s/early 1900s STERLING SILVER PIERCED DISH THEODORE B. STARR

Presented is a fantastic sterling silver pierced footed dish. This piece dates to around the late 1800s or early 1900s, not later than 1910. The dish is very ornate, with beautiful pierced openwork around the sides of the bowl and base, in flowing scroll designs. The rim of both the bowl and the base has an applied edge with designs of shells and scrolls in a Rococo style. The dish is very well constructed and made from thick gauge silver, with a nice heft to it.

The underside of the piece is hallmarked for Theodore B. Starr, New York, and sterling.

This piece is in fabulous condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.

This piece stands approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and measures about 7 1/4 inches across.

This piece weighs 465 grams or 16.3 regular ounces.
