It is a collectible miniatures game featuring super-heroes from Marvel, DC and Indy comics, or licenced from movies, video games, and more. The figures average 1 1/2\" tall and stand on a base with a dial that contains all of the statistics for that character. Think chess, but with a lot more options for pieces, played on a map with terrain and other tokens. Older sets did not have character cards. Beginning with the Avengersset, a character card was added to the game for each figure. For these sets, the cardsare alwaysincluded in salesunless specified at the top of the description.
