Hopalong Cassidy Picture Gun And Theatre Original Box Stephens Products For Sale
Hopalong Cassidy Auto-Magic Picture Gun And Theatre. Made in the USA by Stephens Products. Comes with the original box. The box dates the set to 1939. Model No. 492. Includes the gun, two films, the theatre backround and the instruction sheet. The gun is missing the bulb so it has not been tested. There is evidence of an old battery leak but it should not affect the operation of the gun. Two boxes of film are included. The theatre cardboard backdrop and the instruction sheet are also included.
The original box is in very good to excellent condition and includes the insert. The front panel of the box top has a partial tear on the lower right and the corners show some edge wear. The insert has a small tear along the top edge of the gun cutout.
Pictured in the 1997 Joe Caro Hopalong Cassidy book on page 275. The set is valued there at betwen $275 and $425 depending on condition.
