HERE IS AN 8 1/2\" X 11\" TYPED PERSONAL LETTER, WRITTEN AND SIGNED BY HOWARD T. BOYD. LETTER IS DATED AUGUST 21, 1972, AND IS ON \"EL PASO NATURAL GAS\" STATIONARY. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, WITH MAILING FOLDS, LIGHT WEAR, EDGING, AND STAPLE HOLES IN THE UPPER LEFT CORNER. LETTER IS WRITTEN TO DOROTHY FROOKS, WHO WAS PUBLISHER OF \"THE MURRAY HILL NEWS\".

HOWARD T. BOYD WAS THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE \"EL PASO NATURAL GAS COMPANY\" FOR SEVERAL YEARS. HE WAS ACTIVE IN TEXAS AS WELL AS NATIONAL POLITICS. HOWARD T. BOYD DIED IN FEBRUARY 1972.
