You are offerding on a Hubley cast iron LINDY airplane made in the 1930s. It is a close replica of The Spirit of St. Louis that Lindberg flew in 1927 made by the Ryan Airlines Co.. It is the high wing, single engine prop with the 9 cylinder engine. The wing span measures 10" with LINDY in raised letters and the body has 2 casted halves riveted together. The wheels and prop are nickeled cast iron and are showing some oxidation with the most on the inside of the wheels. The paint has some wear spots but not too bad overall. The wing is held to the cock pit inside with a threaded screw which is correct. The aircraft measures 9 1/2" long and I could find no breaks or cracks in any of the parts. I would say it is in pretty good condition, considering the age, and getting harder to find. Item will be shipped Priority mail, insured free. Check out the other items and have fun offerding!
