*Note that color is OFF in the pictures. This lamp is a burgundy/cranberry color! Huge Victorian table or parlor oil/kerosene lamp. From the hand painted flowers to the colors to the impressive large size, this lamp is absolutely stunning. This is an antique lamp dating to about the 1890\'s. Although it may appear differently in the pictures, the main color is a burgundy or cranberry. It has been converted to electric however all you will need to convert it back to oil is the flame spreader and the chimney. Being a center draft type burner, no drilling was necessary when the conversion was done.The tank appears fine and the wick riser turns correctly. The first click of the switch lights up the base, the second turn lights both top and bottom globes, the 3rd click just the top globe and of course the 4th click turns the lamp off. The only thing I can find to pick at is a little scuff on the side of the base of the globe. It may come out, I have not tried. No cracks, no chips. This huge lamp measures about 30\" tall.
